Akdenİz Kebab Restaurant

Akdeniz Kebab and Lahmacun Restaurant is tucked away in a side street at the very top of the road that leads to the Ancient Ruins of Salamis. This small family-run kebab restaurant serves delicious lahmacun, that famous Turkish street food, cracker-thin crust topped with spicy ground meat and served with parsley and wedges of lemon to drizzle over it. You can also try pide, crusty flatbread, known as Turkish pizza. The varied menu includes all sorts of kebabs and skewers, chicken shish and meat dishes which are served with fries, rice, salad, grilled tomatoes, peppers and onions and ayran, a typical yoghurt drink.

The less adventurous can choose from soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps, a variety of pizzas, burgers, fries, omelettes with different fillings and a wide range of soft drinks, tea or coffee. A friendly welcome here at all hours, 8 till very late.
